A pretty quick and simple look today. I wanted to use most of the products featured in my MAC San Fran Haul. You know when you want to look done, but not too DONE - think Saturday shopping or a trip to the hairdressers, that kinda thing.
Base
L'Oreal Lumi Foundation£9.35 Feel Unique - I feature this all the time so I won't labour the point, it's just a great daytime glowy foundation. I applied it from the centre of the face outwards, blending with my favourite MAC 130 duo fibre brush.
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer£15.50 Debenhams - I probably reach for my dab and go Collection concealer more than this. This one requires a bit more effort - pump, brush, blend - but it's worth it. Gives great coverage that lasts all day.
Sleek Face Form£9.99 Superdrug - I skipped the blush and instead used a little contour powder to give me something that resembles cheek bones and a sweep of bronzer on the cheeks and temples to give some colour.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder Luminous Light£38 SpaceNK - I know, the price makes me wince, but this is possibly my favourite product of all time. I don't want to say too much about this, I'm working on a review but struggling to put it's beauty into words! I'll just say it's like a magic finishing powder that luminizes (I know that's not a word) the face and blurs the imperfections.
Eyes
Really simple eyes - a quick wash of MAC All That Glitters Eyeshadow£12.50 Denenhams all over the lids. A thin line of MAC Coffee Eye Pencil£14 Selfridges along the top lash line only. Finished with Chanel Volume de Chanel Mascara£25 HOF. For brows it was just the usual - a little HD Brow Powder to fill obvious gaps and the wonderous Benefit Gimme Brow£17.50 John Lewis to fill, thicken and finish.
Lips
A couple layers (layer, blot, layer) of MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in Japanese Maple£15 Debenhams, my current go to.
